Steelhead Fishing on the Salmon River!
February roars in like old man winter and left us with 2 feet of snow and today we are getting some more. After getting all the driveways and trails to cabins and animals we decided we would go snow shoeing, then it started to blow in again. Maybe tomorrow.
Last fall we went scouting for elk and deer, saw allot of beautiful country and wolf tracks it was a little unnerving. But it was a great day to be out in the wilds of Salmon, Idaho. I took some pictures I will share them with you.
But it is time to think about catching a big steelhead its is that time of year, call to make your reservation. It is fun to catch steelhead in a drift boat. Hot soup and sandwiches for lunch with fruit and desert.
What a view of the Bitterroot Mountains.
